Our opinions

Three key facts: social networks helps you form new friendships with people, reduce the need for long distance travels to get information, and helps people meet others and interview others for jobs. The wiki is pretty well organized, but some of the videos should not have been set to auto play. If you could not change that feature, the video should then be placed on the top of the page. We think the page should have a few more humorous videos. There are a lot of serious videos, and it feels necessary to take a break from it. We can’t name any specifics, but the Ask a Ninja videos on Youtube might include something about social networks. The wiki has a good amount of seriousness. It wasn’t too crazy, confusing, or random. The videos seemed to focus on one topic, social networking, instead of going into similar ideas. Everything was organized. It went from uses, to impact on jobs and education. Thanks to the wiki, my group and I learned that there social networks have grown a lot since Xanga’s start in 1996. In fact, many companies use these networks to find workers and to meet with each other.

We give all of the videos a 4 in the fun facts section for the humor and how it was still relevant. The questions are relevant and they also help to let you know what point they are trying to get across, so that is a 4. They used a good entertaining way displaying information but yet it tells you about social networking, blogging and how it helps people in their jobs. Clarity of expression would probably be a 4 because the videos weren't too random or plain weird. The summary helps explain the plot of the video. The grammar is correct along with the spelling. They also used a lot of high level vocabulary. Grammar gets a 4. All the ideas  and facts the students show go hand in hand, so good citizenship and cooperation, 4.
